PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Full-Time
Program: Young Dads
Location: South & North Minneapolis & St. Paul
RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Hire, supervise and train staff.
§ Develop and assure quality outreach, intake, case management, referral, vocational assessment, skills training and job placement services.
§ Manage contracts in accordance with terms of agreement.
§ Case manage a 50% caseload.
§ Prepare required outcome reports for funding sources.
§ Develop and implement evaluation procedures for program components.
§ Represent the program and the participant needs to funding sources, business, public and nonprofit committees.
§ Coordinate activities with other EAC programs.
§ Monitor and approve expenditures in accordance with budgets, contracts and RESOURCE procedures.
§ Develop and maintain statistical and data collection procedures to accurately report program performance.
§ Assist in developing bids and proposals for program continuation.
§ Provide leadership in maintaining RESOURCE’s commitment to diversity.
QUALIFICATIONS
§ Four-year degree in human services or four years equivalent experience.
§ Minimum two years experiencing supervising two or more employees.
§ Strong fiscal management experience.
§ Experience in working with proposal and report writing.
§ Ability to hire, supervise and train staff.
§ Program planning and implementation experience.
§ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
§ Proven ability to work with young dads of diverse cultures, economic and educational backgrounds.
§ Ability to successfully deliver program presentations.
§ Experience in case management, assessments, outreach/intake and job placement essential.
