Accounting Support Training Program

Three-course program prepares students with workplace essentials, business and computer applications, and accounting support training. (236 hours or six week program) Program includes:

  • QuickBooks Certified User Certification
  • Current articulation with Dakota County Technical College in Business and Information Systems

Core Manufacturing Skills Training Program

Three-course program prepares students with workplace essentials, and manufacturing and warehouse fundamentals. (288 hours or 7.5 week program) Program includes:

  • OSHA General Industry Safety and Health Certification
  • Forklift Operator Safety Certification
  • IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 IPC Certifications

2017 Schedule:

August 14 – November 3 – Minneapolis

IT Support Training Program

Three-course program equips students in workplace essentials, business and computer applications, and computer technician skills. (636 hours or 16 week program) Credentials and advancement include:

  • CompTIA A+ 220-801 and CompTIA A+ 220-802 Certifications
  • Current articulation with Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Computers-Networking, Programming, Software & Technology

2017 Schedule:

March 6 – September 29 – Minneapolis

Maintenance Custodial Training Program

Two-course program covers workplace essentials and fundamentals in maintenance and custodial skills. (375 hours or 9.5 week program) Student may get:

  • Special Engineer License
  • Certified Pool/Spa Operator Certification
  • ServSafe certified

2017 Schedule:

July 10 – October 20 – Minneapolis

Mechatronics Training Program

Three-course program includes workplace essentials; manufacturing and warehouse fundamentals; and Mechatronics training. (316 hours or eight-week program) Program includes:

  • OSHA General Industry Safety and Health Certification
  • Forklift Operator Safety Certification
  • Manufacturing Skills Standard Council (MSSC) and Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Certification (PMMI) exam (Facilitated by Century College)

2017 Schedule:

August 14 – November 17 – Minneapolis

Medical Office Support Training Program

Three-course program trains students in workplace essentials; business and computer applications; and healthcare technician training. (268 hours or seven-week program)

  • Develop advanced Microsoft Office 2010 Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills
  • Obtain the knowledge to compile, process, and maintain required medical information
  • Develop medical scheduling and billing software aptitude and acquire knowledge of medical terminology

2017 Schedule:

April 17 – August 31 – St. Paul
May 1 – September 14 – Minneapolis

Office Support Specialist Training Program

Two-course program trains students in workplace essentials, and business and computer applications. (156 hours or four-week program). Current articulation with Century College in Office Technology program.

  • Develop advanced Microsoft Office 2010 Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills
  • Expand business communications and problem solving skills expected in the work place

2017 Schedule:

May 1 – July 20 – Minneapolis

Warehouse Operations Training Program

Two-course program prepares students in workplace essentials, and warehouse and manufacturing fundamentals. (180 hours or 4.5 week program) Program includes:

  • OSHA General Industry Safety and Health Certification
  • Forklift Operator Safety Certification
