Awards

  • RESOURCE was chosen as a Star Tribune “2011 Top Workplace in Minnesota.”
  • RESOURCE received the “EWorkPlace Exceeding Expectation Award” from the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs “in appreciation for your collaboration with eWorkPlace to advance telework in the Twin Cities.”
  • Employment Action Center was honored by the Minneapolis Employment & Training Program (METP) to receive both the “Adult Service Provider of the Year Award” and “Youth Service Provider of the Year Award” for 2010-2011. EAC is the only agency ever to receive both awards in the same year, and it has received both in 2005 and 2011.
  • Minnesota Resource Center’s Healthcare Technician Training course was named “Program of the Year” at the joint Skillsoft/Association of Rehabilitation Programs in Computer Technology (ARPCT) Conference
  • Recovery Resource Center was awarded the Minnesota Department of Human Services Commissioner’s Circle of Excellence Award for excellent work in the area of integrated dual-diagnosis treatment.
  • Spectrum’s Charaka Community Support Program received the Public Information Award from the Association of Community Mental Health Programs at their annual conference in September. The award recognized the PhotoVoice Project as a model to help educate the public and help reduce the stigma of mental illness.

Accreditations, Licenses & Certifications

  • RESOURCE is accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) in vocational evaluation services, training and education services, employment services, and employment retention services.
  • Minnesota Resource Center is accredited as a post-secondary institution of higher learning through North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI).
  • Minnesota Resource Center is licensed with the State of Minnesota as a private school for adult learners.
  • Minnesota Resource Center is certified as a provider of Adult Rehabilitation Mental Health (ARMHS) services and Workforce Investment Act (WIA) training services.
  • Recovery Resource Center is a licensed Rule 31 treatment provider, including certification in dual-diagnosis treatment.
