Services for Job Seekers

At Employment Action Center, we understand that being “between jobs” can take you by surprise. Even if you know it’s coming, you may not know how to respond.

We offer a variety of services for the following displaced workers:

Laid-Off or Unemployed

Our Dislocated Worker Program can help you get your career back on track and on your way to a new job.

Veterans

We assist veterans with job placement, one-to-one career counseling, access to education and skills training and assistance transferring military skills into civilian skills.

Underemployed or in Career Transition

For those already working, we offer a Career Strategies program. This fee for service program offers assistance to individuals who desire a career change. We will help you explore new career options, set achievable goals and develop successful job seeking strategies.
